A GIANT BOVINE FIRE-FARTING MONSTER OF MEDIEVAL BESTIARIES, THE BONACON WAS RUMORED TO BE MILD TEMPERED AND FINE-FLESHED. THE ROAD TO PERDITION IS PAVED WITH THE CHARRED REMAINS OF THE POOR CARNIVORES WHO ATTEMPTED TO ACT ON THESE RUMORS.

Or in the words of the 12th century Aberdeen Bestiary: "The bonnacon is an Asian beast whose head is like a bull but the horns curl inwards so that they do not harm the victim. When the bonnacon is chased he expels dung which burns a wide area."
